Here it comes again, just different form of "PGP is not promised when you immigrate..." ha ha ha... Really LMAAAAOThere is no promise that PGP has to be released in December or January. In this case it isn’t necessarily inefficiency.

Do you actually read what I type? Given that taxes from 2019 are needed there is no rush to run the PGP program in January. Last time there were large wait times in between steps which everyone complained about that. Here it comes again, just different form of "PGP is not promised when you immigrate..." ha ha ha... Would also point out that many hospitals in Canada have had to close down ERs to incoming patients or cancel elective surgeries in the past few weeks because there is already no extra capacity in the health system. Adding more seniors will always come down to the ability for healthcare services to absorb more seniors who tend to have higher medical needs. I also see lots of people planning on applying for free dental care for their parents, regardless of whether they can afford to pay, because they will not be making any income in Canada and free medication if they can find a low income program they can apply to if a parent is under 65. To say that the families are taking on all the financial burden is not true.

Yes twitter.Hey all. Assuming the system runs similar to last time. What is the process for expressing interest to sponsor. As I can't find any forms you can fill out, I'm assuming once they open it the form appears and you just have to fill it out and submit as fast as possible? If so what info did you need for it last time?
Also, I see there are facebook / tweeter account listed on the main page. Is this the best place to watch for updates / opening?
Thanks
Don't have a clue, but since you appear to be the expert in these matters, do the research since people will post what best supports their opinionhttps://www.healthcoalition.ca/tools-and-resources/history-of-canadas-public-health-care/
Here's a history of Canada's healthcare system.
It is interesting that in the 1960s Canada's doctors OPPOSED public funded health care. They even went on strike because of it. Prior to that doctors charged what they wanted.
In late 1970s doctors started "extra-billing" to boost their incomes.
The Canada Health Act was introduced by Pierre Trudeau which banned "extra-billing"
What were the problems back in the 60s and 70s that made Canada move towards a single payer system? Do they no longer apply now?
I find it intriguing that some are asking to return to the 1950s with doctors billing privately. Seriously you don't realize how much of a pandora's box that will be.
Curious though, was there EVER a time when you NEVER had to wait at the ER? Really? Show me when that was.
Thanks! If my wife is the principle applicant, and I'm a co-signer. I guess we would put her info here and add me later? Or was there room for both on the previous form.Yes twitter.

Under the new system, IRCC will accept interest to sponsor submissions and invite potential sponsors to submit complete applications in the order they are received.
Sponsors will have 60 days to submit completed applications after invitation.
The process will continue until the 2019 cap of 20,000 completed applications is reached.
Further PGP changes for 2019 include:
- The need to upload a copy of a status in Canada document when submitting an interest to sponsor form
- An enhanced interest to sponsor form designed to help spot duplicate submissions and potential fraud.
From what I remember, it was pretty much the same information. Just your name, email address, tick off a declaration that you meet the income requirements for 3 years consecutively. And they also asked to upload f a copy oyour passport or PR card.
for a second I thought this was for 2020 program.Yes twitter.

But it is really simple and straightforward as far as the EOI (expression of interest form) is concerned.
In fact many who DO NOT QUALIFY also submit the EOI successfully.
I do recall that some made mistakes like wrong date of birth and other things and still could get that amended correctly at the ITA (invitation to apply stage).
So for the FIFO just fill in the right email address and your correct name and fill out the rest and send it. You can correct any mistakes later. Don't know if IRCC will be more strict with the new system in 2020. But judging by past history they are quite lenient when it comes to honest mistakes.
Of course if you dont meet the LICO income requirements for 3 consecutive years preceding then your application will be rejected.
They will accept whatever you feel like providing !!! Why you didn't bring your parents on your PR visa as well in the same flight as yours ?Hi,
I moved to Canada in June 2019 and have been a PR since Jan 2019
Does the IRCC take into account the income earned outside of Canada for the income requirements or does it have to be inside of Canada ?
No - they do not take into account the income earned outside of Canada.Hi,

Wrong.... and nonsense as well. Just because has a PR doesn’t mean you can bring everyone along with you. They will accept whatever you feel like providing !!! Why you didn't bring your parents on your PR visa as well in the same flight as yours ?
