Sponsor never visited home country when he was PR visited after citizenship and I think that is not considered as misrepresentation

The fact that your sponsor claimed asylum and got their PR based on their asylum, they shouldn't have returned home at any point. CIC now thinks that your sponsor lied about their asylum claims in order to obtain PR. It doesn't matter if they travelled on a Canadian Passport, a refugee cannot go home once they claim asylum. That's the whole point of the refugee process.

If you apply as a refugee in Canada, you should expect to never go back to your home country regardless if you are a PR or Canadian Citizen.

Hi I was just wondering what happened with your application did CIC accept your explanation of why the sponsor returned back to home country?

Received a PFL for my dependent inadmissibility of staying In canada without status that caused me inadmissibility too. How can I respond to the letter? Does letting him leave canada makes us admissible and positive result with my application or its still gonna be a refusal even he leave the country?

Is this for a Family Sponsorship application or for another class of application like Express Entry? Exactly what does the letter say? Cut and paste the full letter here removing any personal details.

it is a simply question, just answer why he is able to go back to home country now while he filed a refugee to obtained his PR before. What has been changed that he can go back and come back safely now?

This is a very complicated situation. I would very strongly recommend that you hire a good immigration lawyer to respond to the PFL letter.

Thanks for your response but almost 2 years ago had interview and didn’t brought it up and approved my visa 15 days after the interview.

Hi pinkmoon i am in the same boat, Did you got PR?

That individuals PR application was refused due to their partner's inadmissibility.

Hi scylla i am living in canada for past 10 years, my partner just applied for PR with me as a dependant. I was out of status since 2020 now i have exclusion order when he submitted the PR application. Today i got a call from CBSA and they want me to do a PRRA. I have not lived in phillipines since last 14 years. Before coming to canada i was working in Taiwan for 4 years, I have no connection left to that country. Is there any chance in your experience for me to get PRRA approved.
or should i just go out of country and wait for 1 year to be over and then apply PR again?

I don't know. At this point you would be best off working with an immigration lawyer. Your situation is not straight forward. Good luck.
