please any body help me,
do i have to fill all my data since age of 18?
do they check my background, traveling and living abroad details etc??
and if they check my background then how do they do it?
do they use my passport no to check my background?

thanks

You do have to fill in all your data since the age of 18. They might check your background, who knows how.

If you are not sure of all the details, dates addresses etc. because it was a long time ago, include a cover letter explaining that and explaining which dates or addresses you are not sure of. I am sure that is not uncommon.

Chandi,

Anywhere any problem?
Try & be as candid as possible, it might sail u thru. Don't get bugged-up, my friend...

All the best.

You can check your travel history from your passport where it will show you the arrival and departure dates from one place to another. This is the better way of finding the exact dates.

You also need to mention that what you did after the age of 18 which is more important.

The IMM. forms are self explanatory and not much confusing. But some times the applicants may need assistance, how to fill up certain CIC forms with required information. For example: many people get confused how to answer the question : How many passports do you have?.

As SunnyDXB mentioned, it is very easy to prepare a chronological record of travel history from the passport. Just note down all the departure and arrival stamps of the individual passport pages. The purpose of travel can be shown as visit, tourist, vacation or whatever it may be.
However, if the required information is/are not furnished, there can be delay in the processing.
Regarding the BC, no one can exactly say what is the exact procedure and how long it may take. But from the Forum discussions it is understood that usually it may take 3 to 12 months depending on the applicant's nationality and foreign travels.
