Hey there,
This question is aimed at current Permanent Residents new and old.
I recently received PR back in February and fully intend to stay in Canada for many years and understand that will need to renew in five years time. I was reading up on renewal and specifically about how you have to prove that you have been in Canada for the five years and that you intend to stay for another five years etc.
To anyone who has been through the renewal process - what was required to renew your PR and what was the process involved?
i want to make sure i build the best case possible for myself in these coming 5 years, holding onto as much evidence as I can, so the renewal process is as smooth as possible and that i minimize the risk of rejection.
Thanks!
