Hi All,

I obtained my PR card earlier this year through the Humanitarian and Compassionate stream based on having a Syrian passport. My Syrian passport is due to expire and I am having difficulty renewing it as some documents are required from Syria that I am unable to obtain.
I also carry a Lebanese passport and was wondering if I traveled from Canada, would I be able to reenter using the Lebanese passport (although my PR is based on the fact that I carry a Syrian passport) ?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

You got your PR card under the narrative that Syria is war torn and it's not liveable anymore and now you will go back to Syria to get the renewal of your passport from Syria?

If you have the Lebanese nationality then it should be ok as Canada allows dual nationality (You should still consult with other people, do not just take my advice for granted). If you can use your Lebanese passport to travel around why would you worry about Syrian passport?

Yes, agree with the post above, it shouldn't be a problem. I believe your concern is because one's nationality is still written on the PR card, but you have a valid Lebanese passport, go ahead and use it by all means.
