Not sure how much experience you have with them but You can't time cic processing.

I think you can pretty accurately actually based on recent trends (which is why a lot of us are here). Sometimes they pick up a parcel out of the pile which makes no sense but it’s generally OK.

No, check out below spreadsheet for parents sponsorship and I can send you other sheets for citizenship, work permits etc. Let's say processing time is 4 months then you can get your PR card in 3 months and whereas for me it can me be more than 4..... Processing time is based on avg processing time.... same visa office is asking for PPR whereas for others nothing: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...7WPZRPJ0y2COpRJSt8Ce19yrhI/edit#gid=761650616

Still at Decision Made...I wonder what went wrong with our apps?
I am perplexed as well. I will call in this pm. call in if you can too. I will post what response I received. was hoping some updates today. the system seems to update the following day. so if mailed today will show as complete tomorrow.

I swear they never give the same answer because I called as well and they told me they were just starting to open July 16 applications
I know right, my experience is that different reps say different things depends on who you're speaking with. When I called last week, they said July 16th, then today the rep said July 16th and Early August

Called today and they said they're opening up some early August Applications now
Good to know that.. I pray we all get pr cards soon. Here is my timeline today:

  1. We received your application for a permanent resident card on August 23, 2018.
  2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on November 1, 2018.
  3. We started processing your application on November 1, 2018.

What is your plan if you don’t get your card before your flight?

Just called..not to expect anything mailed soon. There seems to be a technical problem in production effecting some batches. Was also advised that there are rectifying the issue. ETA before Nov 30. Please post any similar responses.

No, I didn't request for emergency. My citizenship app is also in process since Sept 18.

We are going to Mexico in April for vacation :) I think you can enter from border using landing document. Or apply for travel document. When did you apply?
