I have been sitting at DM since Oct 3rd. The details haven't been updated though:

We received your application for a permanent resident card on June 11, 2018.
We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on September 20, 2018.
We started processing your application on September 20, 2018.

So, not really sure what's going on!
edit: realised it's been 4 months to the day that they received my application

Hi, I’m planning a trip for February 19th of 2019, and I will be mailing my renewal application out tomorrow, October 12th. Is there a high chance of me getting the card before my trip?
Thanks!

Hi, mine was delivered on July 18th, I was talking to an officer while ago (11-Oct), he mentioned that they are opening the files which they received on July 16th, probably you will hear from them shortly.
Kam

Yes, this is true. I got an email tonight (past midnight, does this mean they work overtime?) acknowledging receipt of my application on July 16, 2018.

This is my timeline then:

1) Application got delivered to IRCC on July 16, 2018;
2) I received email acknowledgement that they received my application on Oct. 12, 2018.

Nothing on ecas yet. Kam, you should receive an update any day now.

Hi Everyone. I sent my application to renew my PR card on Aug 26. I later realized that I did not inlcude a photocopy of my current PR Card in my application (it was not mentioned in the checklist!). Do anyone know if my application can still be processed under such circumstance.

Hi, They need a photocopy of your PR card. They will look into your file if there is a missing document they will return your application. Just give them a call to discuss this matter.

Waoo. I came here to check the timelines since I've not heard anything from them since July and the processing time is around 90 days. This is crazy.

Just to update:

1) Application delivered to IRCC on July 16, 2018;
2) Email with AOR dated Oct. 12th;
3) First time to see something on my ecas status today (Oct. 12th) and it reads "In Process".
