Permanent Resident Application Family/Spouse Fees

Non Canadian

So this may be a dumb question but I want to be absolutely sure when i send in my app. I am applying for permanent residence and will be sponsored by my canadian wife who lives in canada. As far as the fees go and the family members section on my "Generic IM0008" application, Is she considered a family member where i would have to pay an additional 550 dollars for and list her on the app, or since she is simultaneously filing a sponsorship form, do we just pay the 75 dollar fee and not put her on the form?

Also, I am reading that the PR application needs to be sent first to Missisauga and then later to the actual visa office (for me in NY). So then how do I pay for the application? CIC website says to look up the office and contact them for payment methods as they do not accept receipts.. but how do I send the application to Missisauga and at some point later pay the fee to an office in NY? Sorry Im a little confused. Any help would be great thanks!

You can pay the fee online or you can pay at almost any Canadian bank.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/index.asp

Here is the form to order the form (receipt) to take to the bank with you:

https://eservicesak.cic.gc.ca/kms/introinit.do?dispatch=introinit&appno=5401&lang=en

You'll pay $1040. The bank should know this but in case they don't - it's $75, 550, and 490 for all the fees. (Unless you're filing Inland and want an open work permit, then you have to pay that fee too.)

Hope this helps.

you can also pay online through the CIC website https://eservicesak.cic.gc.ca/epay/order.do?lob=9
490$ is the right of permanent resident fee - RPRF - you can choose not to pay it right away but it will delay your file at the end of the process.
Good luck,
