Permanent residency refused

Hi,
I received an update today, my application for permanent residency was cancelled they stated that i did not submit a medical which i know i did calls were made and they said that they do not have a chest xray that was done fr January but i sent prove that it was done fr january but when i checked the site it stated that i passed the medical and my work permit states that "application for permanent residency has received initial approval"

My question is: Can i asked for my application to be reopened ?

I am no expert, but you definitely seem to have a case. Reopened applications are not unheard of, so I would go for it if I were you.

Can you share a little more details on this, which stream did you apply for PR under? what type of medical did you do.... EDE or non-EDE? can you also paste a copy your rejection letter here?

i applied under the Canadian Experience Class , we did a full medical but my wife was unable to do her Xray because she was pregnant but it was done in January but i submitted prove that it was done on the same day . I was told that they haven't received it

it got rejected because my wife's xray was not sent to them my the medical facility , even though i sent proof that it was done

Did you send an explanation together with your application with regards to why your spouse was not able to have XRAY due to pregnancy?

Well here is my advice (other members are also free to add to this ;D ),

it seems like you may have a case here, you should ask the hospital to send all the medical results to CIC again and ALSO ask the doctor to send a printed copy of the results to you. Then prepare to create a case-specific enquiry(CSE) to CIC on the following link: https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx . In your CSE, attach a letter of explanation of what happened and include scanned copy of the medical test results (as your evidence). Hopefully, this will help CIC to re-consider their decision, though there are no guarantees. In the meantime, you should also consider creating a new express entry profile as a backup. I hope this helps!

PS: On a side note, I am curious as to how long it took for this rejection. when was your application submitted to CIC? in your EE profile account did was your application ever set to "medical passed"?

i saw medical passed on my application on wed and i got the rejection letter on Friday

What did you actually upload in the medicals section for your PR application?

i uploaded all the receipts that i got fr the medical facility i also uploaded a letter i got fr them stating that they are unable to to the xray because of the early stage of the pregnancy .all the results were sent to them by the medical facility.
