permanent residence (common law) - where is this form?

Hi everyone,
I am reading the Guides now, and I found this sentence:
"The people you sponsor must fill out the application for permanent residence."

So, is that something different, some other document? I have list of 2 packages:
1. for sponsor
2. for sponsored spouse

Where should I look for application form for permanent residence? I tried to search on CIC website, but I found only a form for residency card, which I believe is not this yet. And some forms for experienced class, which also does not seem to be proper for family class.

Please, help me to locate it.

sponsored spouse = principle applicant.

start here. click on the family class link, then keep clicking on the appropriate links to "apply to sponsor". you will eventually end up on a page that has links for the application forms. one of the pages will say "GET THE APPLICATION PACKAGE", click on that and make sure to choose correctly that you are applying to sponsor a family member OUTSIDE of canada. the application forms will be listed as sponsorship forms and immigration forms. the applications are certainly more than just 1 form.

yes, those are the correct forms for both applications. the "application for permanent resident" is the completion of ALL of those forms.

oh, ok. I thought there is some third package I should attach. I remember reading about it some time ago. we were thinking about sponsorship since some time, now finally doing it, and I don't see those 3 packages that I had in my mind all the time.

there are 2 packages, 1 guide and 3 checklists (1 for applicant, 1 for sponsor, and one that combines both)

IMM 5476 is optional.

Perhaps the 3 packages that you are referring to are the 3 separate `envelopes' that most people send:

1. All of the Sponsor's forms and related documents.

2. All of the applicant's forms and documents.

3. All of the evidence of your relationship (clearly the largest of all envelopes).
