I HAVE RECEIVED MY PER YESTERDAY AT THE END OF LETTER IT CONTAINS SOME INFORMATION I NOT UNDERSTAND CAN ANYONE HAS EXPERIENCE TELL ME WHAT THIS MEAN AND THIS INFORMATION INCLUDED BEFORE IN PER LETTER OR NEW THIS IT IS (It is important for you to learn about the steps you need to take to get your credentials and qualifications recognized in Canada. Citizenship and Immigration Canada recommends that you review the resources on the Foreign Credentials Referral Office’s website (www.credentials.gc.ca) and the Department’s website (www.cic.gc.ca) for helpful information about living and finding work in Canada. If your application will be processed through China, India, the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Japan or the UK, you might receive information and an invitation letter from CIC about free in-person assistance. In order to participate in this service you will require an invitation letter from the CIC mission which will be sent to you during the later stages of the immigration process if you are determined to be eligible for it. You can access information about this free in-person assistance at www.newcomersuccess.ca . Actual participation in this in-person service is not a guarantee nor an indicator that your immigration application will ultimately be successful or that you will receive an immigrant visa.)

I have not received my PER letter yet so about the last section some one who has recently received their PER would be able to help you.

What I understood from this is to give applicant a hint that even if you apply under one NOC say Dentist there is no guarantee that you will be able to find the job in the same field. There are various reasons behind this two of them are, one there are no more jobs and the second is you were a trained and professional Dentist in your country but in Canada your degree is not the same as the Canadian one therefore it is not recognized from Canadian credentials department. That is the reason of providing this website address:www.credentials.gc.ca and (www.cic.gc.ca) for living and finding work in Canada.

There is no need to worry about.
Thanks
Wicky

As you wait for the application to go thru, have ur credentials assessed by the right authority in Canada. That way prospective employers will be more willing to employ you. also, i believe this profession is regulated so it is best to start doing your research at this time. I am qualified social worker....the first thing i did was to contact the Canadian Association of Social Workers to assess my MA Social Work degree and i've got a letter from them saying it is equivalent to Canadian MA Social Work. My next step is to register with a provincial regulator. I am not sure which province yet.
In sum, the letter is just to inform you that before u can get a job in Canada in your profession, you need to have ur degree assessed against that of Canadian one and then you need to register with the regulator of your profession to get a LICENCE to practice. Good luck!
