Tim. Sending a case inquiry message through the website takes another 15 working days to get a reply. If you are lucky.

I highly recommend you plan a trip to AD monday morning to the embassy. To the visa department on the 10th floor.

@smiley. You are right , sending case specific inquiry means wait for another 15 working days. I can delay my univ registration till 15 September at maximum, I don't have classes as I m enrolled in phd, so I will directly join my research lab.

Moreover, my job gonna start here in Dubai from Monday and it's my first day at a new job. I have to find the way to take leave for one day to visit embassy in AD :( :(

Have a safe journey and stay blessed :)

@ to everyone who was following my situation. Just want to inform you that I collected my pp from dubai vac with the visa stamped inside!

Time to pack my bags and leave Friday night!

My only suggestion is to go and visit the embassy and fill up the inquiry form. Good luck guys (sorry but I'm still very stressed out!)
Good luck! Enjoy it!

Also guys I received another random update on Wednesday, so I believe I have a total of 4 or 5 of them so far. Hope that's a good thing.

@ ao92

I too have received 4 messages stating that my "application has been updated." However, in one of those instances, the message actually corresponded with a status change. And that was the status update of my biometrics being passed. The rest of the 3 were however random, as you said. So I was wondering if that meant I needed one more message before a final decision was made? Or whether I had to wait for two completely random messages instead?

I know you won't know for certainty, but you might have read around the forums more than me so perhaps you might be able to shed some light on the matter. Thanks in advance.

And I hope you receive your Visa soon! :)

Can't tell for sure, but some say it's a good sign, let's hope it is.

Thanks, same goes to you. :)

The tuition fees for my diploma studies s 13000$ annualy
My bank statment shows an amount of 60000 dirhams and i have two letter of support from sisters that they will cover all my expenses and accomodation during my staying period.

This is my 12th week. I really dont know what to do? Any advice?
@Hope

Go to the embassy Abu Dhabi tomorrow and fill out the pink form there and submit and mark URGENT on the form. This has been suggested by the senior members of this thread who were in the same situation.

This is my 8th week going on and I will wait this week.

I hope you hear positive news from the embassy soon.

@Tareq

Well , I m not sure about diploma thing as I have applied for phd. One thing you can do is that submit a 2 page study plan along with your visa application and give reasons for your choice of diploma in accounting and IT. Also write a convincing letter to VO and give him/her the reasons why you choose this diploma, how it will help you in getting a better job back home after finishing studies in Canada and bla bla. VOs consider your past academics, employment history etc. while assessing the study visa applications so it's better to choose courses that matches your past academics and employment history and are beneficial in getting a better job in home country

There are many posts on this forum regarding your question, I suggest you to spare some time and read these posts of different ppl and their experiences.

Good luck.

@ tim420, I haven't received any updates regarding my visa, 7th week started today. But what I think is causing the delay is that many of the July applicants applied during Ramadan, So this could be one of the causes for the delay on top of being peak application period, And as well as Eid holidays. I was starting to get worried weather or not my visa would arrive in time for me to start the september semester but I doubt it will arrive. No point beating on a manner we have no control of, It's bound to arrive sooner or later. I'll be waiting till the end of this week before I transfer myself to the January semester, Best of luck to all waiting, and don't worry guys if you aren't able to start your studies in September you will most definitely start them in January :)
