Actually, my husband is working with an American company and he has worked in Angola , Algeria and Brazil. His stay in that country was on rotational basis. He was staying in Angola and Brazil maximum 2 to 2.5 months and then coming back to india whereas in Algeria he was staying in 3 to 3.5 months and then coming back to India, with this type of rotation he stayed in Algeria for 2.5 years, and approx 2 in brazil and 2 years in Angola.
We have applied for PR before 2 years, recently I have received a message from CHC that I have to produce Police clearance certificate for my husband from Angola, Brazil and Algeria. If I failed to produce PCCs within 120 days then application will be rejected.
We tried to get the PCC but it is impossible as we do not have any contact now in that countries and Consulate of those countries are not helping. We don’t have any friends there and we can not go there specially to get PCC as it is too costly. We could not locate any agency that can help in this matter.
I need your help to know following
As indicated in CIC web site PCC required only if the stay in any country is more than 6 months continuously. In our case, my husband has not stayed continuously for 6 months, in any countries. Can we negate PCC requirement giving clarification that the stay was not continuous ? Or is there any other way to negate the PCC requirement ?
If any anyone has faced this type of problem then please share.
Any one has ever received PCC from Angola, Brazil and Algeria without going there?
Thanking you
