PCC from UK Procedure

Is it possible to provide two bank statements covering different months? To elaborate more, lets say I go to the bank today and print out bank statement for Oct 2016 and Mar 2016. Will it work? I am face obstacles to provide proof of address I am residing in Kuwait. I dont have any document showing both residential address and P.O.BOX. I can get one bank statement which might show both residential address and P.O.BOX. Your help regarding this matter will be appreciated. I tried to contact ACRO but no response until now.

The answer to your question is No.

You need two different proofs for 1 same address and one of the proof should not be more than 6 months old

Can I provide letter of acceptance from my local college in Kuwait. It has my residential address written on it. Can I also provide my UK transcripts where the address is that of a P.O.BOX only.

I am not expert but Letter of acceptance duly signed by your college having the same address is OK and should be acceptable.

I will also be applying PCC from UK once i get ITA. Please share your experience once you get it

The college letter is signed and stamped as well. However, it dates back to 2006. I will share my experience once I start the application process. Thanks for your input.

Fairly certain you need two proofs of address printed in the last 3 months.

If you want a UK PCC then surely it doesn't matter that you are based outside of the UK. They just need to run your name and the addresses you lived at while in the UK.

As clearly stated on the application, they want 2 proofs of your CURRENT address.

Do you have a tenancy agreement? ACRO will get back to you. Send them a copy of the concerned document and ask if it's acceptable.

I have submitted one document that I received from my local college in Kuwait in 2006. My address is the same until now. Also, I have provided them with a recent bank statement with my address written on it. As per the website, one of the docs needs to be within 6 months. Hope these will be accepted.

Why did you submit something from 2006? They just need two forms of idea from where you live now. A bank statement, a water bill, a phone bill...

How things work in Kuwait is totally different. Most of the GCC countries, there are two different addresses; resedential and postal address. Resedential is where you physically reside and postal address is a freakin P.O.BOX where all the regular mails go. Also, utility bills and phone bills are included in the rental agreement which is in ancient language; Arabic. Its not even on a proper letter headed paper. Just a plain A4 paper. So I dont have a choice. I tried to ask my employer to provide me a letter confirming my current address as per their records but they can't provide such letter because they are not authorized bla bla. Therefore, I had to sent them something else in addition to my bank statement and luckily I found that offer from 2006. I can't come up with another alternative. No options at all. If I were in UK, gazilliims proofs out there

If you do not receive mail addressed to you, we can accept:

TWO proofs of the address in the name of the householder, one of which MUST be dated within the last 6 months, together with a letter written by the householder confirming that you have no proofs in your own name but that you reside with them.

OR TWO documents taken from the following list. One of these documents must have been issued within the last 6 months:

• A letter from your employer on company headed paper confirming your current address as per their records.
• A tenancy agreement, rent payment receipts or a letter from a letting agent confirming your current address.
• A driving licence, ID card or passport page showing your current address.
• A letter from your bank on headed paper confirming your current address as per their records.

Please contact the ACRO Customer Services Team if you are still unable to provide sufficient documents to satisfy these requirements.

I obtained PCC from UK. What I provided to them is one current bank statement with my address on it and one acceptance letter from my university in Canada which was addressed to me in 2008 (8 years ago). It is only said ONE of those documents has to be within 6 months.

And those letters/documents cannot be hand written.

Do not stress out, UK PCC is the most simple PCC process I have ever seen. If there is any problem, they will just come back to you right away. I ordered PCC on Tuesday and received the PCC itself on Friday, only 3 days including shipping. I wish the PR process is as fast as that lolll

Thank you all for input. I have received pcc from uk within 5 working days. They just need one of the documents to be a recent one and thats it.
