PCC from UK (Living in India)

Hi Guys,

I am from India, currently live in India but I was in UK for around 6 months in 2006-2007. I am going to apply for PCC via ACRO, and have few questions.

- There are 2 options "Apply Online" and "Apply by Post" for PCC. which should we select based on that I am from India and living in India now. What is the basic difference between the 2?

- Any idea what details will be required from my side for applying PCC?

If anybody has done similar please assist me with as much info as possible. Thanks in advance.

1) You can either apply online... or apply by post. So you either fill out the forms online, or you print them off and post them

Pointers for what? It's the simplest pcc process around. Upload the docs they ask for and you get it in about 10 days.

Agree, it is the simplest ever PCC process that I have come across.

Alright thanks.......I will initiate the process, have to work with the documents.

I got it done a few months back from India. Process is fairly simple. If ACRO has any questions after receipt of your documents/online upload, you would get an email. It happened in my case, and i had selected online application option. Expect 4 weeks for the process to complete, and another 2 weeks to get the PCC report by post. If you have time, select the postal option (not courier as it's expensive) for dispatch of the report. Select the option which gives you tracking option. If you are running short of time, select Courier option.
