Hi everyone,

I need to get PCC from Poland. Does anyone know how and where to obtain it from? On CIC website it says to obtain it from Polish embassy but when I call they say that they no longer issue it and I will have to get it from Poland (Ministry of Justice). On the given website I cant find where and how to apply for one. Has anyone applied for one recently? Please help.

Regards,
A

Thanks for the help. I think this should be the one. Would you happen to know if we would need a paper format or will the electronic format be fine for the PR application

Cheers

Police certificates must be stamped with the Ministry Round Seal or stamped with name seal of the person issuing the document to be considered valid.

I think it's better to get a paper version (a) on paper with a signature and an official stamp;)

Please help with the advice: I need to get PCC from Poland and it is asking for place of residence. Currently I’m on WP in Canada, so should I put:
1) address as per my passport
2) address as where I lived in Poland before
3) my current address of residence which is in Canada
Please advise :( thanks!

The place of residence is where you currently live.

Thank you!
And my final question: for all documents that are not in English, we must submit translation. I got my translation done by ATIO certified translator. She sent me package which includes the following: statement from translator, English translation and black&white copy of original (all of these has her ATIO stamp and signature). So now question: I need to upload scan of original in colour + ATIO package (including 3 documents as I mentioned before)?
Do I still need to get certified copy of the original as well?
This is so confusing (I am applying from inside Canada). Thanks!

Yes you need a certified copy from the original.

Here’s what IRCC website’s:
Unless we tell you otherwise, all supporting documents must be in English or French.
If it is not in English or French, you must send it with:

  • the English or French translation and
  • an affidavit from the person who completed the translation and
  • a certified photocopy of the original document
