Pcc from india

Hello All,

I got a ITA from yesterdays draw.
In last ten years i stayed in almost 6 cities in india so do i need to travel all those cities and apply pcc in respective passport offices?
Can someone help me with the PCC procedure in india?

Book PCC appointment online on PSK in your city of residence or the city where you have your permanent residence address.

You don't need to travel to other cities you've lived in, because you were in India the whole time.

I had a one more doubt. I stayed in pune between 2009 to 2011 but i dont have any proof of stay. Do we need to provide any rental agreements or any bills as a proof that we stay in the mentioned address in pcc form?

Not necessary. Verification will be only done at your current and/or permanent address, in case they're not the same

You don't have to provide any of that upfront but keep it handy just in case for police verification.

if you are applying in India than I think only current address proof will be required

You just need current address proof and Permanent address proof (in case they are different). No details/proof needed for any other city you stayed within India, its not asked anywhere in the form or otherwise.
I stayed in 8 cities in last 10 years of my life and just got PCC from Gurgaon, so stating personal experience here.

Does the psk issue new passport if current address differ from permanent address. I m staying in rented apartment coz of job and i do not want to have a newpassport

Not necessary. Verification will be only done at your current and/or permanent address, in case they're not the same
