Hi guys,

Is it better to apply for PCC (from Indian embassy in Bahrain) prior to getting the ITA?

For Bahrain PCC, I understand from previous posts that I need an NOC from my current employer. Is that right? I'd rather not discuss this with my company - so if there is another way (request letter from Canadian embassy perhaps?) that would be best.

Hi! I had my parents apply on my behalf for my PCC from Bahrain and should receive it this week so can give you more details once I do. Essentially, I sent them my fingerprints that I took here in Toronto and got notarized and then my parents attached this to the good conduct certificate application form which they filled out for me. They accepted this and said it would take about a week to produce it. Hence should get it soon and be able to tell you how exactly it worked and if the certificate they issued was appropriate.

Just to clarify, you did not authenticate it at a bahrain embassy/consulate here in North America? Only got the fingerprints notarized and attached it with the form they provide?
