No need. IRCC will do the check on their end. You might be asked to provide RCMP police check if IRCC is unsure whether you have a criminal record or not in Canada (based on their initial checking). This applies to certain people only not everybody.

I remember last year there is CIC page says we need PCC for each country you lived for more than 6 months, but that page seems to be gone, that's why I am confused.
