Hi Guys

Just getting worked up because I noticed a number of people got refusals due to period of stay not being covered by PCC. In my case PCC from India passport service centre does not mention period of stay at all.

The PCC just says..
It is certified that there is no adverse information for xxx S/o xxxx, holder of Indian Passport No xxx, issued at London on xxxx which would render him or her ineligible for grant of travel dfacilities incuding visa for Canada.

It looks identical to this one --https://www.visajourney.com/static/images/uploads/monthly_05_2014/post-185837-0-51504000-1400608114.gif

Can someone confirm this format of PCC works and I do not need to get one that specifically mentions dates of stay within India.

I got my PCC from Haryana ,my place of permanant residence and delhi latest residence. but not get pcc for delhi old residence for few months 7 months. but my old address is also in same police station from where I got pcc for present stay. Should I apply again for my previous address also or my latest PCC and from my parmanent address pcc from haryana will be sufficient. should I write in LOE

Hi, worried about the same issue -- it looks like you got your PPR after all, congrats! Was there any issue with the PCC not stating period of stay?

I got PCCs from three countries, and only 1 of them had period of stay. I think you will not face issues if the standard format does not have dates of stay, as long as you respect the date of issue rules (i.e. should be after last day of stay of 6 months or more continuously for all other countries and less than 6 months old for country of current residence).

Ahh, thank you so much! I'm in the same situation and this helps immensely. And congrats on your PPR!
