PCC DECEMBER 2012 APPLICATION?

Means whatever status you had at that time or currently what you have.
Like in my case i came here as a student, and now i my status is worker, so i have to provide them my current work permit.
so whatever your status is you have to provide them copy of that
 
I have applied for Indian PCC at VFS Toronto on dec 10, 2012. No status change yet. Still says under process. It is the 5th week now...

5 weeks is good enough. You can approach CGI in person and quote travel urgency. You will get it in a day.

I actually have to travel to india on jan 31st. have my ticket ready. will go to cgi tomorrow.

1) do we need to go to CGI toronto downtown office or VFS Global in Bramption? Becuase we handoer application and passports original in Brampton.

2) if we go to any of the above place couple of days after 6th week passed, do we need to show flight tickets or without tickets also they will give PCC same day ?
 
1) Go to CGI Office directly. VFS has no say in such issues. They act no more than courier agents for CGI.
2) After the 6th week, you can go even without ticket itinerary. Just say, you have to travel to U.S. for an official meeting or carrying a travel itinerary is still better.

Yes, my husband went to CGI on Tuesday and told them we have to go India so we need our passport. They told him, we will process it today and you can pick it up at Brampton tomorrow. I collected mine from Brampton VFS on Wednesday.

Hi,
For my case they took 4 months to issue PCC. I have applied to CGI toronto.
Very very bad service. Everyone in CGi thinks they are PM of India. Irresponsible peoples.
 
I have applied for PCC on December 14 at Edmonton VFS under Vancouver Embassy and I haven't received any response, it still says INPROCESS.........i will be 4 weeks with today...........

Hi Andy don't push too much. In my case they purposely (That's my guess) did mistake in my father's name which took another 2 months to correct/reissue with right spelling. For their irresponsibility I wasted 2 months and 100 CAD.

Guys, i applied my PPC at VFS Toronto on 8th Dec, 2012.

I checked status, its ready to pick up now.....
 
What are the information included in PCC issued by CGI? Is PCC letter contain last address stayed in India?

I have heard that if last stayed address in India matching with passport address then it will issues immediately. If last stayed address is different compare to address in passport then it will take time for them to do verification.

My point is - if PCC letter does not have information on last address stayed in India,, then better to submit PCC application matching address in passport.
 
Hi Ashu thanks for your reply. Did they ask you to provide any airticket/itinerary for your travel to India. I am gonna wait till tuesday and then planning to go cgi toronto on Wednesday!!!!
