PCC DECEMBER 2012 APPLICATION?

I applied on December 13, 2012 and got it today. Yes, they did stamp on my passport.

No. I just applied on Jan-15-2013 at CGI, Toronto.

Is PCC a paper or stamped in the passport? Could someone clarify please?

I applied on 15 Jan via VFS

Pcc is a certificate. On top of it cgi will put a stamp in passport. But if we apply at vfs i think ni stamp in passport. I donno whether stamp is useful in any way or not. To my understanding pcc is important.

I applied for PCC at vfs. I got the PCC and there is a stamp on my passport saying edorsement PCC issued for Canada, and there is a stamp at the bottom with officers name and signature.

so you got the PCC in a month then..thats cool..I applied for PCC & DOB @ CGI, hope it is faster...

how is apply at CGI faster?

That is an assumption I have based on the posts I read in the forum, It is a little faster if you apply for both PCC & DOB together @ CGI since you cant just apply for PCC @ CGI.
