Payer Information on Receipt?

We paid the fees for the Application with my Father's Credit Card.

Is it his name who goes in the Payer Information?

Or myself as the Sponsor?

Or my husband the Principal Applicant?

It says if it's been paid online you do NOT need to send a copy to CIC. How will they relate it to our Application if it has my Father's Name as the Payer??

I have searched the CIC.gc.ca website and did not locate an answer....

Payer information is the name on the card, so in that case, your father. Just add somewhere that it is for spousal application, name of sponsor and name of applicant, so they can link it to your application. And - you do need to include a copy of the receipt with your application, so when they open your file, they can link the payment (the number is on the receipt) with your application.
