Payday loan, Debt Consolidation and Canadian citizenship

Hi,

Last year I got 3 payday loans to support myself and couldn't pay back so later on I filed debt counseling and paying it back now in installments.
Now I applied for canadian citizenship. Is it going to be an issue on my application?
Is it a criminal offense ? Thanks

No. Did you file taxes last year? That is the bigger question. IRCC doesn’t care about your financial situation.

Yes. I filed the tax last year.
