Hoping to get ppr soon and want to get all the documents ready to send in advance .
I'm from a visa exempt country so I only need to send a copy of PP .
My understanding is the required documents are"
Copy of PP : do I need to send all pages or just the picture/info page ?
2 photographs : do I need to sign and date?
Return address envelope
When these documents are received by Ottawa and mycic is approved can I go to the border to active PR or do I have to wait for a response ?

I received my COPR from Ottawa on the 20th Nov ;D
Then I called to try to make an appointment at cic office in Edmonton, so I wouldn't have to go to the border to land. I was told I would be contacted in 6-8 weeks with an appointment time. But today I get a call with an appointment for 15th December. So I wanted to let people know my experience, it seems at least for Edmonton, that it can be fairly quick to get appointments inland and not necessary to flagpole.

GSherriff said:You have to wait for Ottawa to send you Confirmation of PR letter. Then you can take it to the border to land or you can make an appointment to land at your nearest cic office, see my previous post.
Thanks Sheriff . Any idea how long it takes to receive Confirmation of PR letter?
