Passports to CPC Ottawa- Nov 2017

Anyone with Passport delivery date 9th or 10th Nov and still waiting for APPROVED status in MyCIC? Mine was delivered on 10th Nov and not yet approved in MyCIC.

Wait until tonight and then send an email requesting them to process your case.

I wanted to check if holders of Indian passports sending their passport to Ottawa for stamping of CoPR since it is illegal to send indian passport in mail to other country?

Please suggest if Indian nationals have sent their passport and received their passports back safely?

My passport was delivered on Nov 8th and my additional doc tab changed to additional docs have been uploaded from additional docs you provided are being reviewed. Has anyone the same or similar experience? I am a CEC inland applicant

I’m applying from inland as well, ottawa specifically. Passport delivery nov17, no changes with status. I called and they said processing time would be a month because of the number of applicants that they got.

If you re applicant from inside Canada, any nationality passport must be sent to Ottawa including indians. You are absolutely right Indian passport must not cross any border through courieer or someone else other than the passport holder. I hope that answer ur question.

Since time immemorial US work permit holders with Indian passports have been sending Passports to Ottawa via FedEx/UPS for PR visa and receiving back Passports without any issues. Their is no way for Indian government to enforce this policy outside of India.

If you are that concerned then please check with CIC if you can submit your PP to NY-VAC instead of Ottawa.
