The problem is my visa will expire next friday. Therefore I won't have a status. I thought about applying to BOWP if I don't receive the passports by then. I will be in implied status and Passports will be back before BOWP is processed, so I can ask for a refund and withdraw by BOWP application.

Oh sorry I didn't know both your visa and work permit expired. Yea I think you could do that

I'm inland and used canadapost. Tracking info showing delivered, however, not indicating anything that who received/signed the envelope.

dont worry i sent to the po box address and never got the signature.

Finally , I completed my landing at Rainbow bridge today morning.

Well, after a few hours, we made it!

We spent some time in Niagara after the landing at the Rainbow Bridge wasn't processed. Instead of going to the same bridge, we tried the Peace Bridge - it was almost 11 pm.

Once we got there, the officers said it would take about 6hrs. It took less than 2.5hrs. The only problem was the wait. The landing itself was fast and simple.

The only additional document they requested was some proof of address for them to send the PR card. By the way, the estimate time for the card is 6 weeks.

When did you people usually notice (time of day) that your application status was changed to approved? It's been exactly one week today since my PP was delivered and it's still in progress. (I'm a CEC inland applicant already living in Canada)

It's a return envelope tracker number. It will get activated once CIC office hands over the parcel to Canada post.
