You need to write down your name, date of birth, the name and address of photography studio, and the date the picture was taken. See http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/pr-card/apply-photos.asp

Did you get the standard size envelope or letter size? If it's the standard size, it fits in the mailbox so no you don't need to wait at home.

Mine was delivered on 13th June and the approval came yesterday. probably wait for couple days more and then try to call them.

Hi, this number doesn't work from US. They transfer us to CIC and then it says this number cannot be used from outside US. Has anyone successfully called CIC from US?

Hi, this number doesn't work from US. They transfer us to CIC and then it says this number cannot be used from outside US. Has anyone successfully called CIC from US?

When the call volume increase beyond certain threshold they shutdown the calling number. Keep trying the same number until you succeed.

What happens when you forget your name and date of birth?

To answer my own question, apparently it's fine and my stuff is in the printing room. The agent I spoke to told me that they approve applications when they ship the documents and I should expect that to happen hopefully early next week.

I sent my passport on June 12 and it delivered on June 13th. My application status not approved so for. I had called CIC and they mentioned my passport is in printing room. Also I sent an email about my passport delivery status and got the below response. I am CEC inland and PPR date is June 9.

"Your passport has been received at our office and will be returned to you shortly.
Your documents will be returned using the provided Xpresspost envelope. If you have followed the instructions on the website and kept note of the tracking number, you should be able to follow its delivery on the Canada Post website.
We thank you for your patience. "

I don't know how long will it take to send back the passport . Any one in same boat of mine?
