I didn't get an email at all. I just entered the return tracking number on the Canada Post website.

Thanks but still in my cic account is not showing approved,i hope i could see approved by tomorrow.What do you think.Have you seen anybody's return tracker got activated even their application is in progress.I am little bit worrying because i was keep on calling from Monday to cic and one time i have sent email to CPC Ottawa to know regarding to my passport status and they replied to me asking the tracking number of Canada post.
SO today i got that message and also tracker got activated,

Did the IRCC call center agent tell you that your application was approved (assuming you were able to get through to one). I think someone somewhere forgot to update your mycic status. It's probably a mistake. Had there been a problem with your application, someone from CPC-O would have contacted you. Since they didn't, I think it's safe to assume that all is well.

Don't worry, you'll get your CoPR\passport in 2-3 days.

Application got approved just now in MyCIC

Passport was delivered on 26th June...

I think good news will be coming soon for others whose Passports were delivered on 26th...

You were right, i was also approved yesterday. Now just gotta wait for the passport being sent back

My passport was received on June 21. Approved on Monday, July 10. Before this morning, my status was exactly the same as yours "background check in progress", now it has changed to approved. So I guess it takes couple days for them to update the status.

I think that return tracker should be activated by Tuesday as its taking aound 3 business days in other cases..
Hopefully we'll have our Passports in hand by next Friday

I submitted on June 26th and got my PP back from Ottawa on July 10

So.. I called them today again after yesterday and a new story here but in all in good. She said my visa and COPR was printed on this Tuesday and she will be sending a memo to Ottawa Office to send my passport back to me ( I didn't ask her to do that and I didn't ask any other question). She is sending memo to tell Ottawa that I have provided the return envelope so they should be sending it back to me.

Tracker Not Activated Yet........................I check Canada Post like 48 times a day......
Anyone on same the time line and got his tracker activated.??????????
