Hi, Need ur advice
I have received my COPR today in post, but the only thing that I am confused on my COPR is that the destination province is Ontario and destination city is given as Toronto. Do I have to land in Toronto cos I want to land in Edmonton (Alberta).
Brief background: applied under express entry-fedral skilled workers
Travelling from visa exempt country.
Please advice whether I have to land in Toronto first as it says on my COPR or I can land anywhere in Canada.

I am waiting for my passport returning back to me. Meanwhile, I would like to ask if anyone went to Niagara Falls for landing during Friday- Monday recently? I have heard that it's best to do landing on Tue to Thur as it is quite busy at the border recently due to high volumes of tourists. Any suggestions?

Today after the call I received the same email. Just one question: "did they ask for your delivery to Ottawa courier tracking number- the one that you used to send passport to Ottawa (not the return one) during the call?

Just got an Email from Ottawa:

Dear,
This is in regards to your recent inquiry at the call center.
Your passport has been received at our office and will be returned to you shortly.

Your documents will be returned using the provided Xpresspost envelope. If you have followed the instructions on the website and kept note of the tracking number, you should be able to follow its delivery on the Canada Post website.
We thank you for your patience.

Yes one of the agent last to last week asked me the tracking # for the envelope in which I sent my passport to Ottawa. She said they just want to confirm, just a formality like other security questions they ask.

Do CIC send any visa approval email? And does the status in EE changes once your passport is dispatched? I didn't get any mail from CIC.

Yes, your account status will change after approved. But email will be sent slower than checking your account by yourself.

But neither i get status change nor any email. On VFS portal it is showing that passport has been dispatched.

How much time it takes usually to get status change in CIC account? Any idea.

It depends. In some cases they never update or sent an email. The only way is to call and ask when that happens
