My passport was delivered on the 14/July, it is in the que for printing and my CIC account still displays as "Submitted"...also received the email saying it will be returbed shortly...not sure what is going in with that...

Does your CIC profile say 'Passport Submitted' ?

Planning my landing in the last week of October.
Is it safe to book flight tickets now ( don't want to miss out on good deals currently ) ?

My passport is being processed in Ottawa office and on approval, i also got document number in my CIC account

Approved on August 6
Tracker - not yet activated

I say go for it. You have a good amount of time left even considering currrent processing times. If it gets closer, you can always show proof of journey (itinerary) to expedite PP return. All the best!

The Submitted is for my whole application..there was no specific updates for the passport

Man, it has been 25 days since I have seen my passport. My PR application took 75 days from AOR --> PPR. So I'm sitting on 100 days from AOR right now.

Same here. My passports were delivered on 24-Jul; sent to the Printing Room on 31-Jul (per information received when I called them last week).
I called earlier this week asking an update and was provided the *same* information.
Received an e-mail after I called that my passport has been received and will be returned to me 'shortly'. No updates since then...
This wait is rather frustrating!

Mine was delivered on the 24th July and I do not see any changes yet.
Hoping to see some updates this week.
