Passports to CPC Ottawa- July 2017

I need my passport back urgently. It was delivered on Aug 2. What can I do?

Hi mate, if you are in Canada try calling
1 (888) 242-2100 and if otherwise use 1 613 944 4000. I'm not sure if these are open on weekends but this is the best info I have at the moment to share with you.

I found an emergency line for Canadian passport processing but if you don't have any options, try calling this1-800-567-6868 and atleast they can guide you to a contact on how to get back your passport. If you are outside Canada, try calling the nearest consulate office and explain the situation.

Passport Received - July 10th
Application Approved - August 1st
Tracker - Still inactive!!!!!

I am shocked that people who have got approval between August 2nd - 4th have already received their passports.

Hi I sent mine on 19th July and delivered on 20th July. Called CIC agent on Thursday (of courses it was very difficult to get him in line). He said he will send a message to the centre to expedite the process as its already been 3 weeks. Next day (yesterday) my application got approved and the tracker activated, the package is with Fedex and scheduled delivery date is Monday 10.30 am. Please call the agent and u will get ur pp soon.

Congrats Jeekay. I sent mine on July 19 and delivered to Ottawa on july 20. I called the agent yesterday i.e. on Aug 11 and agent said he would send a message to the officer and did so. However, I have not seen any impact so far.

whoever is waiting to get their passport back from Ottawa, if you are not from visa-exempt country, it is going to take exactly 1 month from the date it arrives to Ottawa.

My application was approved two days after arriving in Ottawa, but my tracker didn't activate for 3 WEEKS after approval!

I added a column from Date delivered to processing office until today but for some reason no values are appearing until I updated my profile, just edited it and then saved
