Passports to CPC Ottawa- July 2017

Hi,

How long did it take to get your passport back?
Did you have to fill any other documentation for customs clearance since I was told it is not advisable to send passports especially while working on a visa in the US, which is my situation. Please let me know your experience.

I have not gotten back my passport yet. I didn't fill out any forms. I don't think it's an issue.

Do you hold a US passport or a passport from another country?
Also, do you know how long it would take to get the passport returned from CIC?

My passports reached on 17th July, still no CIC approvals..

You need to call them...they will tell you the receiving date of your PP and the date when it went to the printing room for processing.

Sent passport today from Saskatchewan to Ottawa. When will I get it back?

You have to follow instructions....and after long blah-blah-bla....you need to press "0" . I was not able talk to them afternoon, the best time to reach them -morning hours.

Thanks for your response. I have done my filling through an attorney, Actually, they have submitted my passport to CPC Ottawa. Any idea what are the information that they will ask while calling CIC Ottawa Customer service?

Thank you, I tried the number as is from US and it says call cannot be competed as dialed. Tried +1, without 1 and nothing worked. I'm not sure what's missing

So frustrating. I have seen most of people delivered there passports after 12th and got their approval. I still have nothing update.
