PP delivered on July 7th.

No updates

PP delivered July 6, 2017
Application approved - July 28, 2017 around 3pm (Finally!!!)
Track # activated - ???
COPR/PP received - ???

Hope they send my passport back next week.

I got only once on July 4th ( American Independence Day) hahaha

PPR was June 29th.
Passport Sent : July 5th
Passport Delivered : July 7th

Application approved on automated system.
I applied through my lawyer so cannot check on CIC website right away.

Why don't you ask for username and password for your CIC account from your lawyer? That way you don't have to call your lawyer again again to inquire about the status. Me and my lawyer both have my username and password.

I think you got my brother's email

He did not get any email and on checking on July 27th he received an email that your letter is sent on June 30th..

I hope he receives it soon.

Hi,

I just called the customer care and they said that they have already dispatched my passport on Friday.
However, I don't see any update in the Fedex tracker yet. I also just got an email from them confirming that they have dispatched using Canadapost and they have used the xPressPost envelope I sent with passport. which is weird because I didn't send any Canadapost envelope. They have given me the tracking number I sent for Fedex. I am confused what is happening there.

Does anyone else faced the same problem ?

From other forum, someone has given below information.. Helpful for guys stuck in IP2 . Especially those who know that their VO is ottawa

"Guys at IP2: I just spoke to a very friendly agent who confirmed that the application has been approved on the exact date that my application went into IP2. I asked her about the long wait and she gave me a reason that I had not really thought about. She said the office has been dealing with a massive back log that has extended passport wait times. So they are currently focussed on clearing that backlog before issuing a PPR email. She said that since the app is still within their 6 month target they have not prioritized sending out the PPR email. I hope this gives some relief to the guys at IP2!

WTH are they talking about, my AOR was in sep 2016 and I got ppr 7 days ago I waited 300 days, that's 10 month

Sorry, I mistyped that "pa". I meant to ask when was your passport sent to printing room, which you've replied.
The operator told me that my passport was sent for printing on 15th. But, then my application online got approved on 26th. I am just trying to guess when I will get my passport back. I sent a FedeX prepaid label of International priority, so I should get the packet back within a day when they send it.
Looking at other cases, I hope that they will dispatch by Monday.

When you say the operator told you, does that mean that you were able to call them? Which number did you use?
