I have the exact same timeline as yours. I also mailed from Toronto.
I wonder why our application is still not approved on cic

Were you able to get hold of any CIC agent? For me, every time I call, computer lady says - "no agent available". I called to this number 1-888-242-2100

Update: I succeeded to find a CIC agent this time. She told me my passport is ready to dispatch. If I don't get within a week, call them again. However, there is no updates on my profile. (No email notification and no tracker activation)

It happens to me as well. I used to get through the second time I call. Now no matter how many times I try I can't get through. I wonder if they choose phone numbers!!! If you select different option like "get information for express entry" you will get through to an agent immediately.

"...within a week.." it sounds very good

As I know in some cases people can see the application approval on My CIC and track number activation at same day, and passport arriving on the next day. Lets see what will happen.

The status of your passport you can check while calling to CIC. The number was already mentioned here in this tread.

Guys, I need your help.

I sent my Passport couple of days ago. I have a stamp with the photographer information on those photos, however, I forgot to put name and DOB on my photos. Do you guys have any suggestions about what should I do in this situation?

I dont think that's issue. If CIC needs photos with DOB and name, they may contact you and request for photos again.

Hello All,
I am a PNP applicant. I had submitted my PR application on the 31st of December 2016. I called CIC on July 6th and they told me it has been approved as of 6th July. I got my PPR on the 10th July. It was delivered on the 12th.

I have called CIC about two times since then, and they have only said that they do not know anything and can give an approximate time. It depends on the volume of how many they receive. The first time CSR told me they should return you within two weeks of the delivery of the passport.

Honestly, I do not understand how they are processing everything. It took a little over 6 months for my case when I had 1100 points. CEC applicants are getting their applications approved in less than 3 months. There is no direct way to contact CPC Ottawa.

I can totally understand how frustrating this can be. But there is only so much we can do. I have called them alot and spoken to so many different CSRs but no luck.

Called CIC helpline today - the agent advised me that my Passport is in the queue for printing. It should get printed by end of this week.
