Its been 15 days since the Canada Xprs post was delivered to them on 25 July, should I give them a call to know the updates or shall I wait until 21 days?

We have the same timeline, I also saw a lot of people that had their passports delivered on July 25th. I think this batch will take longer, a lot of people in the queue, probably...

Did you try calling CIC ?
I see no reason for them to hold your documents for a week post approval.

Hi! I have almost the same timeline as you, AOR Jan 20th, PPR on July 20th and sent passport on the 24th (received on 25th).

According to the processing times, there is chance to get it by that date since it's almost a month, but I wouldn't count too much on it if you need to travel soon.

Quick question, I'm about to apply for BOWP since my permit expires on August 20th, how long did it take you to get the BOWP and how long is it valid for?

I applied for BOWP on 14th June and still in process. According to current stats processing time is 70 days (online application).

So then I just got off the call, the agent was super polite...

He pulled out the info fairly easily and said COPR/landing document printed and passport is waiting to be printed for visa and that update can happen latest by early next week (2 weeks SLA as per other posts that I read earlier) after it was received by them on 31 July (COPR was printed then),

so bottom line, people with 25th July (delivery) timeline might have the similar status.

A call would probably relieved you from worrying but expect longer wait period. I waited 32 days for my passport to return.

All we can do is to rely on the tracker?

If you are not exiting the country you do not need to re apply for a visa. Visa is only required if you exit and then enter Canada back. If your visa expires, theres nothing wrong with that. Mainly your status as a worker should be valid.

That is exactly the problem. His work permit expires August 30th

I called CIC yesterday, agent said it's in a queue for printing but never mentioned about COPR/landing documents. Does that mean my landing documents are not printed yet?

Yours was a July 31st delivery? I see that you are a inland applicant, is that right?

Also, this was the info explained on the 888 number, right?

I know this question has been asked many times..and I tried all the answers but I still cannot get connected to an agent. I have been calling for over 5 times this morning. Everytime the auto system just says we are experiencing high volumes of calling... we are unable to transfer your call. What options did u guys select when you make the calls? Do you need to enter the appli no. and year of birth every time? I got approved Aug1 no activation yet. Getting worried
