Passports to CPC Ottawa- July 2017

Buddy i got my Passport request on 5th July, I sent it on 6th July and it got delivered on 7th July. No updates after that. Online on cic application status check it still says just "decision made". Tried calling them several times but no agent is available to talk. Really frustrating now.

I've the same timeline, however, I received an email from Ottawa (Monday, July 24, 2017) saying " your passport has been received at our office and will be returned to you shortly". Since then no updates at all. It's not even saying approved.

Maybe it is an outland application. Inland is taking so long!!!!

What number should I call to get a status update? The CIC Call center? Or would I have more luck emailing them?

It seems like the maximum wait time from PP delivery to Approval is 20 days and wait time from PP delivery to COPR/PP is 25 days.

My PP was delivered on 7/10 so I predict an Approval on Friday 7/28 or Monday 7/31 (although I feel 7/27 is my day ). COPR delivery on Thursday 8/3.

Lets hope for an update tomorrow. I will wait until Friday and then call the call centre on Monday morning in case of no upadates...

Hi Everyone - PPR on July 4th - Documents delivered on July 12th. I tried calling IRCC/CIC to see at least if they got my documents - when I enter my application number and other details - I keep getting this message that they are unable to locate my application. I can't get through to an agent either -looks like they are flooded. My online account has been in the same status since I got PPR. No change. Anyone with a similar experience? I just want to make sure they got my document/picture and that there aren't any issues.

Landed last night at Sarnia. Officer wasn't very happy about us not trying inland landing. I did not carry any documents. I didn't even carry proof of implied status. After the initial annoying behavior the officer did everything right away and we were on our way back in 20 odd minutes as permanent residents.
