Passports to CPC Ottawa - July 2016

The application got approved today morning can I expect the passports back on by Friday EOD to complete the landing in the weekend?

Any advise on the documents to be carried for Landing ?

Are you inland? If you are inland and working, you need to carry thw payslips of past few months. Have the soft copies of your documents with you in a phone or tablet (like marriage certificate, bank statements - not mandatory if inland, but good to have in hand) All the best.

i brought my employment letter/pay stubs/PNP certificate/POF..but they did not ask anything
It was a very easy process they just asked me few questions and waited 10 minutes then they asked me to sign CoPR

Were you assigned SIN on the border or we have to go to service canada for new SIN? What about health card - they would cancel the existing one and issue new one?

Just saw update on CIC account- approved/closed.
Didn't receive any email so far .
Return tracker not activated yet.

shows the passport was at Canada Post, Ottawa at 6.35 pm July 21

My PP was delivered July 14
Approved July 19
FSW inland

I am an applicant from US...Using fedex...Fedex also shows return tracker not activated..Approved on 07-20. Have emailed CPC-Ottawa now.

Hi All,

If you see your application as approved that does not mean your passport is ready to be mailed back right away. These are the steps that happen:

Application Approved: Means Visa is issued
COPR and CounterFoil Printed
CounterFoil Is Attached to Passport
Passport is sent to Quality Department to confirm right visa is attached to correct passport
Quality Department Confirms it is ok
Send to Mailing Department for Mailing

Agreed..I was just guessing based on the history of activities in CPC-Ottawa. If you check the June thread, everyone got their tracker activated on the day the application was marked 'Closed'.
