PP received by Ottawa on Oct 6th. Long weekend may slow down things a bit as people at CIC are taking vacations.

Hi guys,

What kind of envelope did you guys use to send passport to them ? Xpresspost ?

Also how about the picture? can I just send the picture that included in my application?

Thanks

I used Xpresspost to send passport and included a smaller xpresspost envelope for the return process. The PPR email should have the link to photo requirements. I had new pictures taken so that they are current as it has been close to 6 months since i took the photos used in the application.

I used two letter-sized (same size) national xpresspost envelops as my PPR letter specified. The clerk at Canadapost asked me to fold the other one (do not fold on the barcode) and put it into the envelop altogether with my passport, photos and copy of PPR letter then send to Ottawa.

I realized that some members received their PPR letter without specifying the size of pre-paid envelopes but it does appear on my letter.

Yeah i read my letter again to see where the envelope size was specified but i could not find it. Hope the smaller envelope does not delay the process for my application :-\

I don't see the reason why your CoPR would be delayed. But they might need to fold your CoPR paper to fit the smaller envelope.

Passport sent today . Hopefully it will reach Ottawa tomorrow by noon.

My passports just arrived today to Ottawa.

I am in the very north so is like sending them from the north pole. As long I have them before December is ok.

as far as i know the only way you can track is via Canada post till it reaches CPC Ottawa. Once it reaches there the only thing you can do is check for the return tracker being activated. I tried calling the call center but they said they have no access to the file to see whats happening with the passports.
