I called CIC just now, they informed my passport was received on May 9 even though my passport was delivered on May 5. Looks like they take quite a few days to process the passport from the mail room. No changes to my cic yet.

Thoughts? Still think passport can be back by next week?

Hi my passport still in Toronto as per tracker. Canada post says they are still looking for it. Called Cic today no notes from Ottawa about my passport.

Hi Its better to email CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca to check if they have received it. They generally reply in 2 business days. My passport is out for delivery since May 9th and got a response from CPC today that they have received it on the same day(i.e. May 9th). Hope it helps

Seriously, Better to call or email CPC Ottawa to be on the safe side.

I got a response from CPC today that they have not received my passport yet. I had sent it on May 4.
My mistake was, i have a canadian mailing address and i have sent my passports to 365 Laurier Ave west.
