Got my package yesterday (22nd) due to failed delivery attempt on 21st and did my landing that very same day at North Portal Border(Estevan SK). It was very fast and they only requested for my passport and COPR. I had to go to the US border to receive refusal letter and then headed back to the Canada border to complete the process. No unusual questions or request for POF or other documents. I was told I will receive my PR card in 64 days. By the way, they collected my PGWP.Godsdaughter said:PPR June 3rd

After the landing, you can still go to US using your using visa right?~Godsdaughter said:Got my package yesterday (22nd) due to failed delivery attempt on 21st and did my landing that very same day at North Portal Border(Estevan SK). Mine said this and I have a mailing address in Canada:HarryF said:My Ready for Visa Letter clearly states that if I have a mailing address in Canada then I should send my passport and other things to:

There was no mention of any PO Box or alternative address. Am I fine? I read that this is wrong, but I'm reading my letter now and there is no alternative address.
I checked on the Tracking Delivery and it appears that it has been signed for by a J THOMAS. Does this mean my passport is in safe hands? I just wanted to make sure they don't lose it!
PPR : 21/06/2016
PP sent to Ottawa: 21/06/2016
Delivered (Ottawa): 23/06/2016
Also, does this mean I do not officially have Permanent Residence until this is processed? I hope nothing goes wrong...
hmmm...should I have paid extra for a signature? How do I know someone in CIC has it now?CanBC said:PPR: 20/6/2016

I didn't pay any extra for a signature as it was a Po Box and i only have to send PP copies but it says delivered
It's fine, it just means your PPR letter was sent from an outland VO. The letter cited by CanBC is a PPR letter issued by CPC-Ottawa.HarryF said:My Ready for Visa Letter clearly states that if I have a mailing address in Canada then I should send my passport and other things to:

Thanks, I am indeed FSW Outland. In the end, I followed the instructions given I guess.bellaluna said:It's fine, it just means your PPR letter was sent from an outland VO. The letter cited by CanBC is a PPR letter issued by CPC-Ottawa.
