Landed in Houlton, ME: 19 Jun 16 --- Only presented passport (with entry visa) and CoPR, did not have to present proof of fund.

Have same date as yours~ Hope mine will activated soon!!!!

How much time you spent to the border ?

Almost 1.5 hours. I was in line waiting for the officer to complete other cases (i.e. vehicle import, animal import, etc.). The process of landing itself was quick. It took less than 30 minutes for the officer to review document and I signed the CoPR and received passport back. The one time visa was voided right after the landing process was complete. My work permit was taken. I was told that PR card should arrive in 4-6 weeks. In the meanwhile, travel by plane out of Canada should be avoided, by land is okay though.

I'm a visa exempt applicant so just had to send scans and 2 pictures - I've noticed visa exempt folks seem to go quicker than others? May be just a coincidence though...

Hi Guys,

I completed my landing at Rainbow bridge on Sunday 19th June.

There was no waiting because I reached there at 8 AM on Sunday.

VO did ask me my employment letter, POF and pay slips as well. He said I could show him my online account if I dont have pay slip but I had so I showed him pay slips. He took my WP and asked me to update SIN.

Whole process toook 30 mins.
