Hi,
I am indland FSW. I received the PPR in my email. There no message or even update in myCIC page. I know it may sound ridiculous, but I started to feel scared maybe that email was not genuine. Is there anyone here who receive the PPR only in his email?

Thanks,

Thanks for your reply. Yes, this subject line reads

"Ready for Visa / Prêt pour Visa"

I have same timeline as yours. ;)
After I saw your post, I go check my cic again and found out that My CIC detail status is also saying approved!
I do not know if this means they check my passport and approved it, ready to send back the passport or just meaning they are ready to start checking my passport.......

I got a letter fro CIC to send my and spouse passport to CPC-Ottawa in one self-addressed, pre-paid envelope.
However my spouse is in India and I am in Canada and it is illegal to bring passport via courier.

What shall I do?
I have 30 days to submit them.

please share your opinions or experience.

thanks in advance

Send an email to CPC Ottawa to change your spouse's visa office to New Delhi and your should remain Ottawa. Thye have done this numerous times and will do without problem. When they approve you will get another 30 days to submit from the day of your approval. Then you can send your PP tp Ottawa and you spouse can send i to New Delhi.

Thanks legalfalcon.... BTY, How long does it take (normally) to get the approval (to change visa office)?

After you send an email to the ID on your PPR, they will revert back within 3-5 days. Sometimes it takes a little longer, but the average is not more than 7-10 days. They will have to notify NDVO and you will get a new set of instructions for your spouse's PP. I believe for the NDVO after the change is approved, you spouse will have to submit the PP at a VFS centre.

Guys does anybody plan to land soon? I plan to land at the Rainbow Bridge. Many recommend Etobicoque point in Toronto but it needs an appointment and takes much time. What do you recommend?

also, please check the sheet at the signature and signal any updates or changes needed. Use the form to add your case if you did not do yet.
