Hi folks. My applications was closed and approved on April 15.
The tracker is atill not active.
Is there anyone with app closure last week amd tracker still not active

It should be active today by 6pm (Ottawa timing) , mine got activated yesterday - my application was closed on April 14.

I heard from my friend that for the first time landing people have a big amount of duty free... something like i bring a expensive diamond and claim that, then next time I don;t have to worry about claim the same thing when I entry Canada... is anyone understand me....

Yes that's right.. there is no limit to the worth of goods you can bring during your landing.

I am currently already residing in Canada as a temp worker, will they be mailing me the PR card as well OR should I apply for that separately? From what I understand, PR card is given to you when you land, correct?

nope. you just fill in a form in which you state the address where the PR card is mailed. The PR card currently takes 56 days in average to arrive.

Tou will receive a visa and the COPR in your return envelope. When you finish your landing formalities, either at the border or a CIC office by appointment, the officer will ask you for an address when he processes your forms and the new PR card will be sent to you within 60 days (as per the current processing time). You will do the paper work when you land (the last stage of PR process).

If you are a temp worker, you will have to apply for a new SIN number.
