Hi Guys,

Here's my input:

PPR Request Nov 15
Passport sent to CPC-Ottawa Dec 09
Passport delivered to CPC-Ottawa Dec 11

Since then no response. How do I find out if there's any activity going on? Feeling kinda jittery!

Hey Prasenjit, Yes the jittery feeling is mutual. From what I am seeing on these forums, it is taking about 25-35 days on average to get the passports back. They update the CIC account only when the case is approved and until then it says processing. I am worried that the holidays might slow the process down further. I hope to hear something before year end or at least in the first week of 2018. Please keep me posted if you see any changes or receive your passport back. Ill do the same. Happy Holidays !

Hey Awesome7 - congratulations. Im assuming your processing was so fast because you are an Inland applicant ? thanks !

Arjunwadhwa27,

Yes mine was inland. However, being an inland applicant doesn't translate fast processing. Mine was a straight forward complete application. I took the time to research and gather all required documents way before I applied for EE. As you can see I was invited on July 12 and then I submitted my complete application the next day. I also never asked for GCMS notes or made phone calls (which delays applications sometimes). Lastly, everyone's application gets processed depending what they submitted and their history.

Cheers and happy holidays!

I actually posted this on another thread for November applications but I technically sent in my passport in the beginning of December so this might be useful.

Here’s my timeline for reference if anyone needs it. Applied for a TRV and sent it to CPC Ottawa.

Sent in my application: Nov 21st
Application Approved (PPR): Nov 29th
Sent in my Passport: Nov 30th

Passport Received at CPC: Dec 4th (Technically they received it on Dec 1st because of Xpresspost but they officially acknowledged it as being delivered/received only on the 4th)

Status of Application changed to ‘Approved’: Dec 15th
Received Document details and Counterfoil: Dec 15th
Return Tracker Activated: Dec 20th
Passport Delivery: Probably anytime Today or Tomorrow (Dec 21st/22nd)

Hope my timeline helps someone. They did tell me the processing times are a bit longer now cause of the holidays so expect some delays. The only way you find out if it’s been printed or received is by calling CIC (And holding for 40+ mins lol) or sending them an Email.

Thanks :)

Guys,

I have posted this on another thread but got no replies. If anyone could help me out I would appreciate it.
I am living in Toronto for more than a year now under Work Permit. I am going through the express entry process and just received my PPR a few days ago.

I sent my documents (copy of passports, annex A, pictures and prepaid envelope) from Toronto to

CPC – Ottawa – PR
PO Box 9780
Ottawa ON K1G 4B9

I did it through registered mail with signature required. I did it that way because it felt more secure, but after thinking about it I am worried that because it's a PO BOX no one will be there to sign and my documents might not be delivered after all.

What do you guys think? Should I be worried about that? If yes, is there anything that I can do to fix my mistake?

Thank you!
