Can somebody tell how many days/weeks CPC ottawa takes to send the Passport back with PR stamped on it?

about 3 to 4 weeks!

I would suggest Sarnia, ON as no restrictions for day or time of landing as in all borders near Niagara. Also super quick at Sarnia...you'll be done with everything in less than an hour

What documents do a person need to carry for Landing. Do they check every original document?

Must have -
1) Original Passports
2) COPR
3) Passport size photos (PR card dimensions)
4) Address where PR card has to be sent (no proof is required, however, just get the address)

Good to have-
4) Existing work permit /study permit/ visitor permit documents if any
5) Proof of funds - Bank statements (They normally don't ask but just in case)
6) Pay stubs - last 3 months
7) Medical reports

@Garry2i3i89 - For our landing at Sarnia - No photos were asked for landing. Asked for driver's licence or any other id for address proof. The officer just asked how much balance my account had and didn't check the statement though I was carrying one.
