Passports to CPC Ottawa-August 2017

Can somebody tell how many days/weeks CPC ottawa takes to send the Passport back with PR stamped on it?

Any where between 3 weeks to 5 weeks, few cases were 2 weeks (I think when you request urgent processing with proofs and if IRCC can do it)

I just called IRCC. The agent said no update on my passport(still in the print room) yet so he left a message to the case processing centre. Hopefully they will send out my passport soon.

Unfortunately I don't know what number you should call as you're outside of Canada. Sorry

I had to first cross the Canada/USA border in my car and then get a slip from the US customs office as my US Visa isn't valid anymore. After getting the yellow slip I drove back towards Canada and showed the officers standing outside the slip and they let me park my car in front of the CBSA office and then the officer inside looked at my COPR and signed it. That's it ! It took me 2.5 hours to reach the border from Waterloo.

I would suggest Sarnia, ON as no restrictions for day or time of landing as in all borders near Niagara. Also super quick at Sarnia...you'll be done with everything in less than an hour
