i just received a reply from cic saying they have sent my passport yesterday but tracking is still not activated? don't know what to do ? does it take time to activate tracking ? anyone please help if you have any information?

I am not sure.

In my understanding, if a letter is sent to Post office, the tracker must be active. I did call to Canada post many times to double check this information. Some people in our forum gave the misleading information that they got passport without an active tracker. :'(

However, if CIC lost your re-paid envelop, they will order one for you. In this case, CIC will send you an email and give you a tracker code. I know this information because I have talk with an agent at CIC.

You can call to CIC again, and ask them why your tracker code is not active. Explain to them why it is critical with you.

Anybody here had the application approved by visa office abroad but sent passport to Ottawa for stamping? Does that cause delay?

Got PPR today, will send passports today as well.
so, just to make sure, i have to send:
- 2 passports (mine and my spouse's)
- printed copy of the ppr e-mail
- 2 photos for each person (50x70, with the stamp of the photo studio and our names on the back)

Sending with express canada post, 2 envelopes (one to send passports there, 1 for them to return it back)

Should i also write UCI or application number somewhere?
Or add anything else?

You are good to go. In your CIC letter, you have all information for your visa.
