Passports to CIC Ottawa: March 2017

I know the processing time for COPR may varies depending on the person.

But why delivery time from CIC makes such a big difference?

According to this thread the fastest applicants get approved the next day of PP received and sending back from CIC just takes 1 day.

My PP is supposed to arrive on APR05.
When can I expect my COPR?

Can't say for sure. Give it 3-5 days after your application has been approved on your CIC account. Mine took 5 business days...

Passports sent to Ottawa -March 26, 20017 (Sunday Evening)
Passports received - March 28, 2017
Application status changed to Approved - March 30, 2017
Passports Dispatched From Ottawa - March 31, 2017
Passports received - April 03, 2017

I'd say around 5:20pm EST or PST (not sure now). What I know for sure is that my application got approved on a Friday and tracker got activated the following Wednesday

You should get your application approved anytime, may be tomorrow and have your passport in hand with COPR on Wed (Best case) or Thursday. Stay positive.

For me, my tracker got updated at 6:47 PM on Friday (March 31st) and got my PP delivered today 2 PM.

Passport sent on mar 28. Was received mar29and was approved on 31. Now waiting for passport tracker to be activated.

I have same timeline as yours. Mine got approved on 31st and same day tracker got activated late evening (after 6 PM) and got my PP today at 2 PM. You tracker should get activated anytime today.

I know how hard it is to wait for the PP when you know the application is approved after waiting for eternity. Good luck though Indigo

As there is a consultant between CIC and me, I need to expect another 2days...
My current employer is suck and I want to quit a job as soon as I can.

Some of the people in this thread got just 1day later than when CIC had dispatched.
Are they living near Ottawa?
My consultant is in Vancouver and I am in Banff so I can't expect such a fast delivery.

Canada post provide the service on weekends?
If so, I could get my COPR in week2 of April.

I only had to send photocopies.
