Passports to CIC Ottawa: March 2017

When did you send yours to Ottawa?

I made the same mistake.

So they are returning your passport with no visa, correct?

Read my above post that I called CIC.

I sent it on 22nd March and canada post says it has been delivered on 23rd March.

I have no idea till now whether they will return to me or they will send it to the CIC's correct address.

Let me know if you find something helpful.

PP sent on 26th March and reached Ottawa on 28th March.

I just sent an email and called CIC.

I was advised to wait it out. It's going to take a longer time because they have to reroute the passport to the right office.

As of today, my passport has not been received yet.

I just sent an email and called CIC.

I was advised to wait it out. It's going to take a longer time because they have to reroute the passport to the right office.

As of today, my passport has not been received yet.

I realize I made the exact same mistake as you did. My package is shown delivered on 23rd and the application was approved yesterday.
The return tracker is not activated yet, which is not surprising as it is in the wrong office now. When I called CIC, the response was to raise a case specific enquiry and I did that now. Not sure what to do now.

It reached the CPC last Wednesday and the application status was changed sometime yesterday. I received the email about the update today morning.

I am bit of relieved now.

So you are saying that your passport was recieved last wednsday. but, when did you submit? because I submitted my passport last wednsday.

You will get your passport back shorlty.

Did you send your passport to P.O.Box address? Did you send from Canada or USA? I heard if my mailing address in canada I have to send courier to P.O.Box address. But my agent sent to 365 Laurier Avenue.. what to do? Do they return my passport without stamp? Or just take more time..

Ok. Out of my curiosity, I called CIC again.

My COPR was printed today and it is already sent out. So the incorrect address turned out not to be a big issue.
